Address: EH2 4PH

It would be extremely helpful, although not a requirement, if members could let Raj Bhopal know whether they will be playing in this event.  Preferably, send an email to: rbhopal@doctors.net.uk.  You may, however, turn up on the day at the time specified.  Late-comers will not be added to the competition.

Please arrive sharp at 10:15 AM for a 10.30 start (we expect to finish about 4 PM).

Paid-up members of the club are eligible for this event (associate members, visitors and guests are not eligible to play although of course new membership applications or upgrades to membership are possible!).

Members will compete for the Johnny Marr trophy for our allegro chess championship.  We will play five games meaning just over 4 hours of chess.  The results will be sent to Scottish chess for grading.

Time-control: 25 minutes per game, without increments,

Organiser: Raj Bhopal (rbhopal@doctors.net.uk)
Arbiter: David Archibald
Pairing maestro: Andre Antunes
