The amount is frightening!
Options suggested No.6 should be avoided if at all possible.
Options 4 & 5 seem good as a number of competitions etc are held at the Wester Hailes Centre giving revenue to the City council.
I help out at the Christian Aid Sale in May each year and feel that many of the club’s library books may be of more value than the club realises. Website “ABEBOOKS” may help with a valuation prior to any sale.
A members “bring and buy” sale may help in a small way.
Local business man Sir Tom Farmer is very generous and I feel if we work hard and can prove it to him – he may match any sum we can raise.
